Applicable Steel Materials
The hot-dip galvanized (HDG) high-strength steel series covers mainstream automotive and industrial high-strength steel substrates, including hot-dip galvanized low-alloy high-strength steel (LA), bake-hardening steel (BH), dual-phase steel (DP) and conventional high-strength structural steel. All base materials feature stable mechanical properties and precise thickness tolerance. After hot-dip galvanizing treatment, the steel retains the original high-strength mechanical properties while obtaining excellent corrosion resistance, fully meeting the application requirements of automotive exterior parts, chassis components and outdoor agricultural machinery equipment.
Product Characteristics
High anticorrosion performance: Zinc and steel matrix form metallurgical combination for strong adhesion and longer service life than electro‑galvanized items.
Thick adjustable zinc coating (10‑120μm), evenly covered against acid‑rain and salt‑spray corrosion.
Economical and long‑lasting with low post‑use cost for outdoor and high‑corrosion‑condition projects.
Stable automated production supports customized sizes with high product qualification.
Main Application Fields
Chassis System
Subframe, torsion beam, suspension bracket, fuel tank fixing bracket, exhaust system bracket; Exposed to long-term contact with rainwater, snow salt, and soil. The hot-dip galvanizing coating is thick, and its rust prevention ability is much better than that of electro-galvanized plates.
Interior and exterior trim hardware
Seat frame, door hinge bracket, interior support piece of the dashboard, snap-in mounting base.
Body‑in‑white structural parts
Inner door panels, door sills, A‑B‑C pillar reinforcements, floor panels and trunk inner components; T‑treatment ensures good formability during deep‑drawing processing.
New energy-specific components
Battery housing, side impact beams, tray support frames, etc., which need to balance high strength and resistance to electrolyte corrosion.

"Stone Impact Test Results: Galvanized Steel Sheets Offer Superior Stone Chipping Resistance!
With the protective zinc layer, even flying gravel or debris can hardly damage the base metal of automotive steel sheets. This significantly reduces the risk of rapid perforation corrosion on the steel substrate after coating damage."
Galvanized Steel vs. Non-Galvanized Steel
Galvanized steel sheets feature an extra zinc coating for protection.
They deliver superior resistance to harsh outdoor conditions such as sunlight, rain and alternating humid and hot environments over a long service life.
Automotive exterior panels made of galvanized steel are far more durable, keeping your vehicle in perfect appearance for years.
